The Supervision Experience

I offer clinical supervision for post-graduate Master’s-level clinicians seeking to gather the required hours for the Licensed Professional Counselor license in Tennessee. I am also available for those who are further along in their career and are seeking consultation.

Clinical supervision is vital to building excellent clinicians. I strongly emphasize evidence-based practice in both the clinical and supervision settings. I understand that, just as in the counseling room, each supervisee has a unique learning style and needs different types of support for different areas.

As a supervisor, I assist in identifying potential blind spots and areas for improvement. I will work to develop and reinforce habits for self-reflection, continued education, and the importance of revisiting familiar concepts through different lenses. During supervision, we will work together to enhance and refine your clinical skills and competence, case conceptualization, explore ethical considerations, identify and deal with transference, identify and address potential burnout, and develop your personal therapeutic style.

I also offer group supervision if there are at least three supervisees available and who wish to participate in that model. Some advantages of group supervision include additional diverse perspectives, peer support and collaboration, and enhanced learning opportunities through case consultation.

Please reach out to discuss your supervision needs and see if I would be a good fit for your career goals.
